what is snowsolve?
It is a browser extension for Dr Frost Maths that captures the question on screen and uses a vision model to return a readable answer and walkthrough.
What do I need to get started?
You need the extension, a browser with developer mode enabled, and a key from one of the supported AI providers. The setup guide walks through each step.
Where are my provider keys stored?
snowsolve stores configured keys in the browser's local extension storage. As with any extension, only use keys you are comfortable using in a browser environment.
Does it work without a vision model?
When vision providers are unavailable, the extension can use its MathML text fallback where the page exposes the question structure.
